My name is Farkhad Hasanov.
This is my junior year, and I am majoring in Finance and Investments. As you can see by my name I am not an American born. I am from Azerbaijan. It is a small country on the coast of the Caspian Sea. It is famous for two things; Oil and food. However weird I do speak fluent russian. I am a sports fanatic, and follow all sports except hockey, and baseball. Nevertheless I still root for the Yankees. Go Yankees. My areas of interests are global markets, investment opportunities and using everyday to better myself mentally, and physically. My favourite animal is a pug so that might explain the picture on this blog. I work my summers as a senior lifeguard on the Coney Island beach in Brooklyn. It pays very well, and you get to stay in shape, and yes you get to look at beautifull girls all day long. I hope as the semester progresses more of you will visit my blog and comment on my postings. Well that is it for a brief introduction into my life. Let us all have a great semester and all get As.

Hello Farkhad. I know where Azerbaijan is, it an Eurasian nation with a lot of oil. So was the country part of the former USSR? I think it is a great to have this kind working experience on the resume, "look at beautiful girls all day long." Did you used a sunglasses or did you stare? Anyhow, I went to the Mermaid Parade last summer. It was fantastic. Brooklyn has a very different mood than Manhattan.
Let us do well together in this course, let us help each other and learn from each other.
